2021 Petite Sirah

Unabashedly intense, the 2021 Petite Sirah is our monolith; a wine that snickers at our typical light-handedness and any attempts at restraint. We produced two lots in 2021, each fully fermented to dryness and left to macerate on the skins for an extra week or two. This extended time in tank helps to resolve and smooth out the ample tannin, resulting in a tightly-wound, dense wine without any ruggedness on the finish. Dark cherries, blackberries and a background of violets show on the nose, with added notes of licorice and currant in the mouth.
